When the rover rumbled to a halt not far from the portal, Althea roused herself from her daydreams and got out, heading around to he back to grab their supplies before moving them to a more available place closer to the portal. She took out her iPod and checked the time. "When are they coming?" she asked as she shoved her iPod back into her pocket and returned to the rover to grab some more bags. She couldn't remember when the last Pilgrimage was supposed to arrive, and she wondered who was going to be on it. Thea set the last of the bags down along with the rest and returned once more, leaning against the side of the truck that was relatively clean and brushed a few escaping strands of ebony hair from her face. Her light ice blue eyes were on the portal, watching for any sign of movement or action that might signal the start.

"Gotta love the jungle, eh?", he said jokingly while he made a futile attempt to shake off some of the gunk. Following behind Althea and hefting two more more bags from the back. "What's the rush?", he asked dropping the bags onto the growing pile at the foot of a tree. "Besides, the rest of security has got to get here, and knowing their track record that could take a while", he said sarcastically, and raised his voice to be sure Isabel could hear him.
